Stewart Brand proclaims 4 environmental 'heresies'

It's quite interesting that Stewart Brand pointed Portugal as one of the countries considering Nuclear power (as far as I know, Nuclear power might be discussed during this year's political campaign for general government elections). I would like to know the opinion of the leading candidates, but I'm afraid they will do their best to keep this topic out of their agendas. For our guest countries, Finland is adding some reactors and Israel is also considering nuclear power as an option to its electricity power mix.
